I am a former empirical researcher from the Ruhr-University Bochum (RUB) who is working outside of Academia. This website contains information about my research.

I hold a Master degree in Mathematics and a Master degree in Economics and recently finished my PhD in Economics. My main research field is development economics where I focus on Sub-Saharan Africa and investigate microeconomic foundations of economic growth. During my studies and my research activities, I spent several research stays and semesters abroad in South Africa, Ghana and Rwanda.
