Nina Kupzig
About me
I am an empirical researcher currently employed by the Ruhr-University Bochum (RUB) who is looking for a position outside of Academia to apply my affinity for data and enthusiasm for technology.
I hold a Master degree in Mathematics and a Master degree in Economics and recently finished my PhD in Economics. My main research field is development economics where I focus on Sub-Saharan Africa and investigate microeconomic foundations of economic growth. During my studies and my research activities, I spent several research stays and semesters abroad in South Africa, Ghana and Rwanda.
Currently, I am a guest researcher at the RWI -Leibniz Institute for Economic Research in the Department Climate Change and Development. In collaboratory work, we conducted a randomized controlled trial (RCT) in Rwanda in 2022.
